Eric has over twenty one years of experience in technical support of users in Laboratory Information Systems. He has been in medicine for over fifty-four years and began working with computer systems in 1985 when implementing a system in the clinic laboratory where working at the time. He is licensed as a Clinical Laboratory Supervisor in all five areas in the state of Florida. He is also licensed as an Acupuncture Physician since 2001 in the state of Florida. He has been an assistant chief tech as well an evening/night manager in two major reference laboratories.

His strong points are being able to work well with users with limited computer skills and help them understand by explaining in plain language rather than overloading the user with terms they may not be familiar with. He works well at the system level of information systems such as Unix and Linux. Very good at troubleshooting problems with printers and instrument communication.

Having worked many years at the bench level in laboratories he understands the problems that can arise. Being a primary care provider has given him insight into the needs of the users and physicians. This enables him to accurately determine the criticality of situations and make sure any issues are dealt with in the appropriate time frame.
